Beta 0.3.2.2 - Major late-game bug fixes (SPOILERS)

Today's bug fix is once again thanks to our awesome Discord community!  User Omega reported a glaring late-game narrative issue that led me to notice a strange error in my Python syntax.

Apologies to Mac users as the currently hosted Mac build is out of date.  In the near future I hope to set up a VM which will allow me to put out Mac build updates at the same time as PC/Linux.

SPOILERS AHOY!

  • If you agree to Harald's coup attempt and fail, sometimes the Great Leader would mention Jol Chorsa as being responsible for betraying you even when Chorsa is already dead.  Fixed so Chorsa doesn't come back as a revenant (quite as often!)
  • When Harald is kneeling by your side, updated sprite position to make it a bit more organic and aesthetically pleasing.

... and that's it!  On that topic, please be on the lookout for any "revenant" characters so-to-speak - that is, characters showing up after they were killed in the story!  My Python is still pretty iffy, so I'm bound to have missed some more narrative inconsistencies here and there.

On that note, I remembered that my previous claim about "all narrative holes being filled" wasn't exactly true.

Known issues (MORE SPOILERS):

  • If you kill all the ministers, there's a missing plot point where you overthrow the Great Leader and install yourself.  At the moment, you simply jump to the Leader being dead with the player in power.  Thanks again to senl for pointing this out!  I'll work on adding this missing plot point in a future update.
