Beta 0.3.3.1 - Polish and game balance
Greetings, commanders!
This update just adds a typo fix and a game balance change.
In previous versions, if you chose the dialogue option "maybe Huldin won't get a chance to help" when you meet Jonathan Wilder, the invasion would automatically fail to capture the port in the north. This was an old idea I implemented and forgot about, but in retrospect I find it quite harsh. I might rework the idea so that warning the ambassador reduces your chance of success in capturing the ports, but doesn't automatically cause failure.
That's it for now. Bigger updates are in the pipeline, mainly a Steam release and a proper Game Over screen.
Known issues (SPOILERS):
- If you kill all the ministers, there's a missing plot point where you overthrow the Great Leader and install yourself. At the moment, you simply jump to the Leader being dead with the player in power. Thanks again to senl for pointing this out! I'll work on adding this missing plot point in a future update.
- The "Valkyrie" ending needs to be fleshed out with more variety depending on your choices, how the war played out, etc.
